Eleanor Kane is an Associate Professor and Senior Research Fellow at the University of York's Department of Health Sciences, affiliated with the Epidemiology and Cancer Statistics Group (ECSG). She specializes in cancer epidemiology with a focus on haematological malignancies and childhood cancers, leveraging routine healthcare datasets for population-based research.

Her research integrates systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and large-scale collaborative projects. Recent work includes analyses of maternal health factors affecting childhood cancer risk and breastfeeding's role in brain tumor prevention.
