Eleanor Hotham is a Research Fellow at the Sheffield Institute of Education (part of the College of Social Sciences and Arts) and the Social and Economic Research Institute at Sheffield Hallam University. She holds a BA, PGCE, MA, and MRes, and is currently completing an ESRC-funded doctoral study on teacher professional learning for curriculum innovation using realist methodology. Her work bridges research and practice, focusing on professional development, curriculum innovation, and literacy.

Research Interests: Eleanor’s research emphasizes mentor training efficacy, teacher professional development, and curriculum design.
