Dr. Elayne Ahern is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Limerick. Her research focuses on neuropsychological aspects of mood disorders, cognitive remediation, and cost-effective mental health interventions. She holds expertise in systematic review and meta-analysis methodologies, supported by an Evidence Synthesis Ireland Fellowship (2022) and SWAR Award (2024). Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being.

Research interests include cognitive profiles of depression, e-mental health strategies, and functional recovery outcomes.
