Elaine Jones is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at Swansea University's Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science, based at St David’s Park Carmarthen. With 30 years of nursing experience, she joined the university in 2003 and has over 17 years of academic experience. She teaches on pre-registration and post-registration nursing programs, specializing in nursing ethics with a focus on women's health, disability, and termination of pregnancy. She co-manages the Return to Practice program.
Teaching focuses include ethics, reflection, and gynecology. She has contributed to modules such as SHG3061 Personal Practice Development Portfolio, SHGM107 Communication in Practice, and SHGM111 Ethics in Health and Social Care Practice. Her career highlights include presenting at the HEI Summit Return to Practice conference in 2016 in Birmingham.
