Ela Celikbas is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the School of Mathematical and Data Sciences, West Virginia University (WVU), part of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on Commutative Algebra and Representation Theory, particularly the study of commutative rings, modules, and finite free resolutions. Celikbas is actively involved in academic service, co-organizing the WVU Algebra Seminar and Graduate Student Seminar, and serving as a WVU Faculty Senator. She also advises the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) WVU Student Chapter.
