Education
- PhD in Mathematics, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 1996
- MS in Mathematics, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 1991
- BS in Mathematics, San Diego State University, 1989
Research Interests
Dr. Jorgensen focuses on homological properties of modules over local rings, vanishing theorems, complete intersections, Gorenstein rings, and triangulated categories. His work bridges commutative algebra with representation theory and category theory, emphasizing structural and categorical approaches to algebraic problems.
