Eiman Mohamed El-Sayed is a Lecturer in Accounting at Keele Business School, Keele University. She joined in January 2020 as a Teaching Fellow and previously worked at the University of Southampton as a Teaching Associate and Research Assistant. Her academic journey includes an MSc (Econ.) in Accounting and Finance (with Commendation) from the University of Aberdeen and a BSc in Accounting (First Class Honours) from Alexandria University, Egypt. Prior to academia, she worked in banking at CitiBank NA Alexandria.
Research Interests: Driven by advanced methodologies like natural language processing (NLP) and corpus linguistics, her work focuses on corporate narrative financial reporting, non-GAAP disclosures, and IFRS compliance. Key areas include annual report analysis, performance measurement, executive compensation dynamics, and debt contracting mechanisms.
Teaching: She instructs undergraduate courses such as Accounting Principles, Intermediate Financial Accounting, and Management Accounting, along with postgraduate modules like International Financial Reporting and Contemporary Issues in Accounting Research. She also contributes to MBA programs through Financial Management modules for senior leaders.
