Dr. Ehsan Jabbarzadeh is Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Director of Entrepreneurship at University of South Carolina. With joint appointments in Chemical Engineering, he leads research in tissue engineering and directs the NSF I-Corps Site program.
Research integrates:
- Nanoscale engineering of stem cell microenvironments
- Natural product-based cancer therapeutics
- 3D biomimetic scaffolds
Recent publications demonstrate innovations in carbon nanotube platforms for stem cell control and natural compound screening for cancer stem cell targeting. Holds 5 provisional patents for natural compound applications in oncology.
