Ehab Alhousari is a Doctoral Candidate and Researcher at the Department of Law within the Faculty of Law at Lund University. His research focuses on comparative analysis of Swedish and Danish Migration and Citizenship Laws, examining their impact on refugee integration through the lens of legal statuses, rights, and 'liminal legality' caused by temporary residence permits. He holds concurrent researcher roles in Human Rights Law, Integration and Law, and Public Law.
Teaching responsibilities include courses such as Introduction to Swedish Law (covering EU and Administrative Law), Migration Law: Thematic Approaches (emphasizing legal integration of protected groups), and Swedish Migration Law. He also supervises student essays and leads seminars.
Research interests span interdisciplinary approaches to migration governance, with keywords including comparative law frameworks, empirical legal studies, and public international law intersections.
