Dr. Effie Mitsopoulou is a Tutor in Psychology at Swansea University's School of Psychology, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Life Sciences. She holds a PhD from the University of Southampton (2020), where she researched the Young Male Hypothesis of risk-taking behavior under Prof. Tim Wildschut. Her expertise spans decision-making, cyberbullying, self-regulation, and nostalgia. She collaborates with Harakopio University and the University of Crete on projects linking empathy, self-compassion, and self-esteem to bullying/victimization.
Education: BSc (Hons) Psychology (University of Crete), MSc Psychology Methods (University of Amsterdam).
