Edy Wong

Dr. Edy Wong is the Associate Dean, International at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta. He holds a PhD and serves as a visiting professor at several Chinese universities and the China Academy of Governance. His expertise spans international business, with a focus on China, strategic procurement, and supply chain management. He has received notable awards including the Governor General's Medallion and the Chongqing Friendship Award (2013).

Dr. Wong combines academic leadership with extensive industry experience, including corporate directorships in Hong Kong and China, and advisory roles with organizations like the China Petroleum Equipment Manufacturers Association. He teaches courses such as Strategic Procurement, International Business, and International Finance, emphasizing global business strategies and supply chain competitiveness.

His professional contributions include developing the SCMP designation program in Canada and lecturing at the China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong. He regularly advises on international business practices and has authored numerous scholarly articles on China's economic landscape.
