Edward Wilson-Lee is the 1596 Foundation Fellow at Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge, where he serves as Editor of the Annual, Keeper of Manuscripts and Archives, Undergraduate Tutor, and Director of Studies. He teaches early modern literature, Shakespeare, and medieval literature for the college, and is currently on leave as a Guggenheim Fellow working on his book The Grammar of Angels. His academic work bridges literary studies, book history, and global history during the Renaissance period.
Wilson-Lee's research focuses on literature and the history of the book in the early modern period, with particular interest in global cultural exchange, knowledge organization, and the impact of print technology.
