Edward Kelley is a Studio Assistant and 3D Design Instructor at Drake University's Department of Art & Design within the College of Arts & Sciences. He holds an M.F.A. in Sculpture from Syracuse University (2005) and a B.A. from the College of Charleston (1999). Prior to his current role, he worked in the fine arts industry as a mold and pattern maker and owned/operated a fine arts services company. His studio practice focuses on traditional sculptural materials and techniques to explore collective human and artistic history, creating objects that blend narrative and spatial elements to provoke subtle introspection. He actively organizes and leads annual cast metal workshops in the sculpture department.
