Edward J. Woell

Dr. Edward J. Woell is a Professor in the Department of History at Western Illinois University's College of Arts and Sciences, specializing in 17th-18th century European history with particular focus on religious culture during the French Revolution era. He teaches courses including Western Civilization since 1648 (History 126), Old-Regime Europe (1648-1789), The Enlightenment (1721-1784), and French Revolution & Napoleon studies.
