Edward Cho is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Michigan. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT and a B.A. in Economics & Math/Applied Science (summa cum laude) from UC San Diego. Prior to his current role, he taught at Harvard, MIT, and Wellesley College, and worked briefly as a litigation consultant in private industry. His research interests include General Economics, Teaching, and Industrial Organization.

Cho is renowned for his teaching excellence, having received the Golden Apple Award at the University of Michigan, Harvard’s Certificate of Distinction in Teaching, and the Allyn Young Teaching Prize. He teaches courses such as Financial Markets, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Law and Economics, and serves as an undergraduate concentration advisor. His office is located in 238 Lorch Hall, Ann Arbor.
