Edward Brooks is an academic at the University of Oxford, serving as Programme Director for the Programme for Global Leadership and Executive Director of the Oxford Character Project. His research focuses on character, leadership development, and their intersections with ethics, hope, resilience, and organizational culture. He co-founded the Oxford SDG Impact Lab and has collaborated on projects such as Harvard University's Human Flourishing Program.
Education: Edward holds a Master of Arts (MA) and Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) from the University of Oxford. Prior roles include visiting lecturer at the University of Birmingham and Research Leader at the University of Northampton's Centre for Psychology and Sociological Sciences.
His work bridges academic research and practical leadership education, emphasizing the role of arts/humanities in leadership studies and character education in universities.
