Eduardo C. Corral serves as Visiting Faculty at Pacific University's Master of Fine Arts in Writing (MFA) program, where he teaches poetry. An acclaimed poet, his work appears in Best American Poetry 2012, New England Review, Ploughshares, and The New York Times.
Corral's creative scholarship centers on Latinx and queer identities, border politics, and social justice through innovative poetic forms. His work interrogates immigration narratives, cultural heritage, and sexuality with bilingual experimentation and political urgency, evolving from lyrical explorations in Slow Lightning to the confrontational themes of Guillotine.
His publications reveal a trajectory toward increasingly politically charged narratives addressing contemporary American realities, characterized by formal experimentation and intersectional perspectives on marginalized experiences. Corral's poetry consistently engages with border theory, queer embodiment, and decolonial frameworks.
