Edmond Byrne is a Chair Professor of Process & Chemical Engineering at University College Cork (UCC), Ireland. He leads the Department of Process & Chemical Engineering, contributing to academic leadership and research since 2016. His career spans roles from College Lecturer (1998-2013) to Senior Lecturer (2013-2016), with extensive contributions to chemical engineering education and sustainability.
