Edita Jurak

Edita Jurak is an Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Engineering and the Engineering and Technology Institute Groningen (ENTEG). Her research focuses on biocatalysis, enzyme discovery, and the modification of complex polymers such as carbohydrates and plastics. She leads a research group within the Department of Chemical Engineering, exploring enzyme function, structure, and their applications in degrading lignocellulosic biomass and plastics like PVC.
