Eddie Yang

Eddie Yang is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Purdue University and a postdoctoral fellow at CSSI. He holds a PhD from UC San Diego (2024), an MA from the University of Chicago, and a BA from UCLA. His research focuses on the intersection of authoritarian politics and AI, including how censorship and propaganda influence AI systems, and the geopolitical implications of US-China scientific competition.
