Ed McKeon

Ed McKeon is a Lecturer in the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, University of London. He founded and directs Third Ear Music, a platform for collaborations between contemporary musicians, composers, and artists in interdisciplinary contexts.

His expertise spans music management, curatorial praxis, and the intersection of music with policy and funding. He has held key roles as a promoter (Oxford Contemporary Music, Spitalfields Festival), strategic development manager (London Sinfonietta), and artistic director (British/Ivor Novello Composer Awards).

McKeon holds an AHRC-funded PhD from Birmingham City University through the Midlands 4 Cities Doctoral Training Partnership, examining curatorial praxis in music.
