Dr. Ed Harcourt is the Charles A. Dana Professor of Computer Science and Director of the Engineering Combined Program at St. Lawrence University. His expertise lies in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and system-level simulation using SystemC, a C++ library.
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science (North Carolina State University), M.S. in Computer Engineering (North Carolina State University), B.S. in Computer Science (SUNY Plattsburgh).
Prior to joining St. Lawrence University, Dr. Harcourt worked as a software engineer at Cadence Design Systems in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, developing hardware simulation technology for EDA. He also held a postdoctoral position at Chalmers University in Gothenburg, Sweden.
