Ed Durgan is an interdisciplinary scholar and Associate Professor at Antioch University Seattle. As Academic Director of the Clemente Veterans Initiative since 2017, he focuses on amplifying veterans' voices through humanities-based education. His work bridges urban homelessness, severe mental illness, architecture history, psychiatry, and social justice, with a particular emphasis on trauma-informed approaches.

His honors include a 2022 National Endowment for the Humanities grant for co-developing 'Inflection Points', a bridge program into undergraduate studies for US military veterans. He has also received grants for teaching underserved populations.
