Dylan Evans Weiler serves as a Lecturer in the Visual Arts department at the University of North Georgia. He is based at the Gainesville campus in the Art & Technology building, room 1708.
Mr. Weiler's expertise spans multiple areas of visual arts including:
- Painting and Drawing
- Two-Dimensional Design and Color Theory
- Figurative Painting
- Digital Illustration
His artistic practice focuses on narrative painting within installation environments that often incorporate sound design, environment design, and interactive elements. He frequently collaborates with his brother Morgan Evans-Weiler, a Philadelphia-based noise musician and visual artist, to create innovative environments for experiencing painting and drawing.
Mr. Weiler teaches a variety of courses including Drawing I, Two-Dimensional Design and Color Theory, Art Appreciation, Painting I, and Painting II.
His educational background includes:
- M.F.A. from Laguna College of Art and Design (2014)
- B.F.A. from Northern Michigan University (2009)
