Duncan Wooldridge is a Reader in Photography at the School of Digital Arts (SODA), Manchester Metropolitan University. He teaches on BA and MA Photography programs and supervises doctoral research exploring experimental and cross-disciplinary photographic practices. In 2020, he co-founded the international network Global Photographies, connecting institutions across continents.

His curated exhibitions and writings for journals including Art Monthly, Camera Austria, and 1000 Words highlight his engagement with photography’s expanded field. Articles from 2018–2025 demonstrate sustained exploration of automation, materiality, and contemporary photographic theory.
