Dulmini Perera is an Associate Professor at the Ralahine Centre for Utopian Studies and the School of Architecture & Product Design at the University of Limerick. Their research explores the intersection of ecological questions, technology, and systems theory within architectural and design contexts, emphasizing non-reductive, designerly approaches to systemic complexity.
- Research Focus: Histories and theories of design, cybernetics, process philosophies, and their socio-political implications.
- Projects: Co-Principal Investigator of the DFG-AHRC funded project Enacting Gregory Bateson’s Ecological Aesthetics in Architecture and Design (2023-2025).
