Drew Kopp is a Professor in the Writing Arts Department at Rowan University's Ric Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. His research focuses on ontological inquiry and the history of rhetoric, with teaching specialties including courses on writing practices and research methodologies.
Dr. Kopp has authored/co-authored publications in journals like *Journal for the History of Rhetoric* and *Rhetoric Review*, and co-authored the book *Speaking Being: Werner Erhard, Martin Heidegger, and a New Possibility of Being Human* (2019). His work explores intersections between rhetorical theory, philosophy, and educational pedagogy, particularly emphasizing how digital media can transform institutional communication.
Notably, his documentary *Salvador* (1993) received a Silver Remi Award from the Houston Worldfest in 1996. His research on digital video's role in articulating writing program missions has influenced institutional practices in higher education.
