Dragana V. Jovanović, DMA, serves as Associate Professor of Conducting in the Conducting Department at the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade, where she teaches Choir conducting and Choir singing. Her career spans academic instruction, ensemble leadership, and international artistic collaborations.
Her educational foundation includes:
- Graduation and specialization in Conducting at the Faculty of Music, University of Belgrade
- PhD in Conducting under Professor Darinka Matić Marović at the Faculty of Music, University of Belgrade
Professor Jovanović's research centers on choral conducting methodologies and vocal pedagogy, with recent expansion into interdisciplinary multimedia projects. Her notable works include "African Sanctus" (2016), "WATER – SNAKE – SMEDEREVO CITY" (2015), and "Mokranjac 1914-2014 and Water" (2014), demonstrating innovative fusion of traditional choral music with contemporary visual and conceptual elements.
Her contributions have been recognized through prestigious awards:

Actively engaged in ensemble direction, she currently leads the mixed choir of the Faculty of Music and Academic choir Collegium musicum. Her extensive international participation spans festivals and competitions across 25+ countries including China, USA, Argentina, and Sweden, reflecting significant global impact in choral arts.
