Douglas P. Mitcham is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Evangel College, Springfield, MO. Originally from Natick, MA, he transitioned from a 13-year career in the defense industry to academia in 1993. Mitcham earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Evangel College and an M.S. in Computer Science from Boston University. He served as Faculty Athletic Representative for over 25 years and was a member of Evangel’s first football team.
