Doug MacGregor

Doug MacGregor serves as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Western Colorado University's Math & Computer Science Department within the College of Science and Technology. With extensive industry experience spanning military service, semiconductor design, and corporate leadership, he brings real-world expertise to academia.

His industry experience at Motorola (where he designed microprocessors with 24 patents), Dell Computer Corporation (as General Manager for worldwide notebook business), and Harvard Business School (as research fellow) provides unique insights into technology management and organizational behavior. He joined Western Colorado University in 2015, initially teaching in the business school before transitioning to the Math/CS department where he helped establish the Information Security emphasis.
