Dorottya Uhrin is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Historical Studies, Eötvös Loránd University, specializing in Medieval History.

Her research focuses on medieval ecclesiastical history and medieval religiosity, with specific interests in ordeals, cult of saints (especially Virgin Martyrs and Hungarian saints in Europe), and interdisciplinary historical analysis. She has contributed to studies on the Mongol invasion of Hungary, analyzing its Eurasian context through archaeology, military history, and cultural impact.
