Dr Dorota Goluch is a Senior Lecturer at the Cardiff University, School of Modern Languages, specializing in translation studies with a focus on postcolonialism, Holocaust memory, and solidarity discourses. She has taught modules including Introduction to Translation Theory, Advanced Translation Practice, and Specialized Translation: Politics and Law.

- M.A. in English Philology (Jagiellonian University)
- Exchange year at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich
Research spans:
- Polish reception of postcolonial literature (1970–2010), analyzing over 1000 reviews
- Translation practices in Holocaust memorial museums
- Theory of solidarity in translation studies
- Translation of African and Caribbean literature into Polish
Articles focus on translation strategies, cultural discourses, and postcolonial memory construction. She co-supervised eight PhD projects and co-authored the online course 'Working with Translation' (run since 2016). Honors include the Enriching Student Lives award (2016).

Advising: Currently supervises four PhD students on topics ranging from fan translation to Welsh-Chinese translation sociologies. She has co-supervised projects on translation sociology, localization, and bilingualism.
