Dori Farthing is Assistant Professor and Chair of Geological Sciences at SUNY Geneseo. She participated in NASA's InSight Mars landing operations at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, providing scientific commentary on the mission's geologic significance.
Research interests focus on planetary surface processes and Mars exploration. Engages students in space mission science through observational campaigns and mission support activities.
