Dr. Doohong Min is a Professor in the Department of Agronomy at Kansas State University. His research focuses on forage systems, including alfalfa production management under water stress and wheat-based cropping systems. He leads USDA NIFA projects on low-lignin alfalfa and dual-purpose pearl millet integration with livestock and human nutrition in Senegal and Niger. As Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PI, he oversees USAID-funded initiatives such as the Sustainable Intensification Innovation Lab (SIIL) and projects in Ethiopia, Senegal, and Niger.
