Donna Kukama is a professor of Contemporary Art/Global South at the Academy of Media Arts (KHM) in Cologne, Germany. She previously held a lecturer position (2011–2021) at the University of Witwatersrand and a guest professorship (2019–2020) at Braunschweig University of Art. Her practice spans performance, video, text, sound, and installations, interrogating historical narratives and value systems through Global South perspectives.
