Donna Cornachio

Donna Cornachio is an Assistant Professor of Journalism at Purchase College, part of the School of Humanities. With nearly 30 years in journalism, she transitioned from broadcast (WCBS News) to print, contributing to the New York Times, Newsweek, and Washington Post. She currently serves as a communications specialist at Clarity Media Group, preparing authors for media engagements. Notable collaborators include Diane Keaton, Susan Cain, and Iuliia Mendel. She also trains organizations like Teach for America and Girls, Inc. in speech and presentation.

Education: BA from New York University; MS in Journalism from Columbia University. Office hours: Tuesdays and Fridays, 10:30 AM–12:00 PM. Annual mentorship of Purchase’s senior commencement speaker focuses on speech content and delivery.
