Donna Bueckman is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Tennessee (1992), an M.A. in Economics (1989), and a B.S. in Economics from Bemidji State University (1987). Her research focuses on Environmental and Natural Resource Economics, Economic Development, and Public Policy. She has taught courses such as Introductory Economics, Public Finance, Labor Economics, and Environmental Economics since 2002.

Her research includes studies on underground storage tank regulations, social insurance in developing countries, and risk communication in environmental policy.
