Roles & Affiliations: Assistant Professor of Data Science at the Peter O’Donnell Jr. School of Public Health, UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). Research Interests: Integration of real-world data (EHRs, imaging, molecular profiles) for clinical insights. Large language models (LLMs) for mining clinical text. Development of data commons for diseases like cancer and cardiovascular disorders. Biomedical imaging analytics, including MRI and digital pathology. Addressing healthcare disparities through data-driven approaches.

Key Contributions: Led projects on LLM-based clinical data extraction, including ChatGPT assessments. Spearheaded data commons for osteosarcoma and germ cell tumors. Pioneered deep learning tools for tumor microenvironment analysis (e.g., ConvPath software). Published extensively on AI-driven pathology, imaging biomarkers, and EHR analytics.
