Dong-Gook Kim is a tenured Professor of Supply Chain Management at Dalton State College's Wright School of Business. He joined the faculty in 2008, advancing to Associate Professor in 2014 and Full Professor (tenured) in 2019. His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University, an M.S. in Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska, and a B.S. from Dongguk University.
His research focuses on online education dynamics, social presence in learning environments, gender differences in educational outcomes, and educational assessment methodologies. Notable contributions include studies on instructor presence in online classes, telepresence effects, and mental health screening in schools. He has also engaged in institutional partnerships, such as the Latino Needs Assessment Grant as a co-investigator.
