Donatella Alessandrini

Professor Donatella Alessandrini is an Honorary Professor of Law at the University of Kent's Kent Law School. She holds a PhD from Birkbeck, University of London (2007), and her work intersects law, political economy, and feminist theory. Her research focuses on global value chains, international economic law, and development, emphasizing the socio-economic impacts of trade policies and financial systems. Key areas include the WTO's role in economic inequality, social reproduction theory, and alternative institutional frameworks for value distribution.
