Donald B. Verrilli Jr. is a Lecturer in Law and Adjunct Faculty member at Columbia Law School. His expertise stems from a distinguished career in public service and private practice, including serving as the Solicitor General of the United States (2011–2016) and Associate U.S. Deputy Attorney General. He currently practices law as a partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson, founding their Washington, D.C. office in 2016.

His research and teaching focus on constitutional law, political theory, and judicial analysis, particularly examining First Amendment jurisprudence and the dynamics of the U.S. Supreme Court.
