Rebekah Hanley is a Clinical Professor at the University of Oregon School of Law, serving as the 2023-24 Galen Scholar in Legal Writing. Her current research focuses on generative artificial intelligence's impact on legal education and practice. She teaches 1L and upper-level legal research/writing courses, as well as the required professional responsibility course. Previously, she served as Assistant Dean for Career Planning (2004–2008), practiced law at Munger, Tolles & Olson in Los Angeles, and clerked for Judges Dean D. Pregerson (CD Cal) and Harry Pregerson (9th Cir).
