Don Grant is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Colorado Boulder and holds fellow status at the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute. He directs the university's Social Innovation and Care, Health, and Resilience certificate programs. His research spans racial income inequality, environmental justice, climate policy, and organizational determinants of carbon emissions.
Key research areas include investigating power plants' carbon footprints globally and analyzing how frontline care professionals navigate bureaucratic systems. Recent work focuses on international trade, NGO influence, and national regulations affecting CO₂ emissions from energy infrastructure.
