Domonkos File is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Addiction, Faculty of Psychology and Education, Eötvös Loránd University. He serves as a lecturer and is a member of the Research Ethics Committee.
His research focuses on Addiction Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Psychophysiology, with a particular emphasis on the interplay between 'wanting' and 'liking' in addictive behaviors, attentional bias, and neural responses using ERP and SSVEP techniques. He also explores age-related changes in cognitive control and creativity.
Key trends in his publications include Visual Mismatch Negativity studies, Behavioral Neuroscience approaches to addiction, and Data-Driven Network Analysis of mental representations.
