Dominique Côté is a Professor in the Department of Classics and Religious Studies at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Arts. Holding a Ph.D. in Theology from Université Laval (1998), an M.A. in Ancient Studies (1991), and a B.A. in Ancient and Jewish Studies (1987) from Université de Montréal, they have taught at the University of Ottawa since 2003.

Their research focuses on cultural and religious transformations in Late Antiquity, particularly examining Greco-Christian interactions, rhetorical influences on biblical figures, and religious identity formation. Current teaching includes CLA 5922 - Pagans and Christians in the Later Roman Empire and CLA 2723 - Greek Mythology.
Research themes span Jewish-Christian relations, Neoplatonism, Orphic cosmogonies, and Second Sophistic traditions, with a particular emphasis on Pseudo-Clementines literature and its Greco-Roman context.
