Dominique Angel is a Lecturer in Dance within Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance. A professional dancer trained at the Joffrey Ballet School, she performed with the Joffrey Ballet under Robert Joffrey and Miami City Ballet under Edward Villella, working with renowned choreographers including George Balanchine, Paul Taylor, and Jiří Kylián.
Her teaching career includes positions at The Miami Conservatory, New World School of the Arts, Virginia School of the Arts, Randolph College, and Troy University since 2014. Angel received Troy University's Ingalls Award recognizing excellence in classroom teaching. She integrates her professional performance experience into pedagogy, emphasizing the preservation of choreographic traditions.
