Dr. Dominik Mitzel leads the Emmy Noether Junior Research Group at TU Dortmund University's Faculty of Physics. His group specializes in experimental elementary particle physics, particularly flavor physics, focusing on rare decays of hadrons with charm quarks using data from the LHCb experiment at CERN.
