Dominic Packer is a Professor of Psychology at Lehigh University and serves as the Associate Vice Provost for Research. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, a B.A. from McGill University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Ohio State University.

His research focuses on the impact of social identities on beliefs, emotions, and decisions, spanning topics such as racism, ageism, intergroup cooperation, leadership, and pandemic response. He explores how social institutions interact with identity to influence bias, shaming, and policy support.
Dominic co-authored the award-winning book *The Power of Us* (2022), which examines shared identities in improving performance and social harmony. His publications include interdisciplinary studies on behavioral science, neuroscience, and public health during crises.
