Professor Dominic Chalmers is a faculty member at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, specializing in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He holds a Professorial rank and contributes to teaching in MSc Financial Technology and MBA programs. His research focuses on digital entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence applications in ventures, platform economies, and social innovation. He leads a €1.2m EU-funded project on data-driven entrepreneurship and co-leads a €4.5m Horizon 2020 initiative examining technology legitimization.

Advising & Teams: Supervises PhD candidate Sarah Herzog exploring entrepreneurial ecosystems. Leads the Entrepreneurship, Development and Political Economy research cluster and contributes to the Social and Digital Change Group at Glasgow.
Publications: Over 20 peer-reviewed articles in top journals like Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, and Entrepreneurship, Theory and Practice. Recent work includes studies on NFTs in creative industries, AI-driven venture creation, and Fintech's role in financial inclusion.
