Dominga Garufi

Dominga Garufi is an Architect, BIM Manager, and BIM Global Lead at Werner Sobek AG, as well as an instructor at the Institute for Computational Design (ICD) at the University of Stuttgart, where she teaches the BIM Seminar.

• Education: Master's (ITECH) from the University of Stuttgart; Master's in Sustainable Environmental Design (SED) from the Architectural Association in London; Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Construction Engineering from Italy.

Her research and professional work focus on leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) to enhance transparency and decision-making in architectural and engineering projects, with a strong emphasis on reducing environmental impact and improving construction efficiency. She integrates cutting-edge technologies in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) sector to advance sustainable design practices.

Garufi has collaborated with renowned sustainable architectural firms like Wilkinson Eyre and Hawkes in London and worked at HPP Architekten before joining Werner Sobek AG in 2019. Her expertise spans BIM methodology, sustainable design, and digital innovation in architecture.
